Our dream is to see social responsibility embraced by both individuals and business and firmly placing unity back in heart of the community.

Anode is an organisation that is registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC). We seek to address the individual and corporate needs of social concern within the community.

Anode takes its name from the electron that omits positive current. Anode - A Positive Connection CIC is therefore working to alter a community environment from the negative to the positive by creating a different culture where a positive initiative, action and outlook can alter a community.

With 15+ years experience in the charity sector Nigel Williams launched Anode during 2007 and is the founding director. Subsequently Anode is undertaking Coaching & Advocacy Programmes, SmileMaker Makeover Projects, Re:Store Basic Need Program, Community Re:Paint Scheme & 'Via' Community action volunteer programmes. By providing our services to the community we seek to support individuals with practical, emotional and financial guidence.

2007 saw the launch of many projects and all projetcs of activity can be seen at our "What we do" section of our website.  Anode is unique in its ability to holistically work with any client and guide each person towards their aspirations being fulfilled

In today's society there is a tendency to follow the crowd or blend into the group, we believe individuals and bushinesses should be different and unique, being part of a society who are not frightened to face the issues of the day and prepared to express their willingness to impact their enviroment through community action and be part of the solution.
